Our executive is excited to report to our members and to select the individuals for next year's executive.
The AGM will be held at 7pm, June the 19th, 2012 at Cecil's Bar and Eatery in the middle section just to the left of the main doors. The admission cost is $10.00 per person.
Let's not forget the First Annual FOUNDRES AWARDS!

The Founders Awards
Recognizing people in theatre & remembering those who made it possible!
Starting in the 2011-2012 season for the Gateway Theatre Guild, we're embarking on a new initiative which will recognize excellence in theatre and outstanding contribution to the arts. Each season, producers of each production will send out silent voting requests from cast & crews involved in each production. The tally will qualify one nomination for Oustanding Performance & one nomination for Technical Excellence (any aspect of crew). This will occur for each production thus creating 3 nominations for each award each season. All nominees will be contacted and asked to attend the awards ceremony at the AGM in June at the end of each season. There will be a Founders Awards committee that will take these nominations and mail out a voting card to the membership whereas they fill out the ballot and return to the GTG with a pre-stamped return envelope provided. The votes will be collected, counted, and the results shall become public at the AGM. In addition to these awards, the committee will nominate three deserving qualifiers to receive the award for Valuable Contribution which is open to anyone past or present. The winners receive very elegant etched acrylic awards which have been manufactured in advance & hold a very respectable monetary value. Any donations that we've received from the families of our passed friends of the Gateway Theatre Guild have been re-invested into these awards so that we can remember our friends for their dedication, love, passion, hard work, and unforgettable personalities. Let us all remember Joyce Johnson, Edna Boyer, and Bob Clout as well as our other friends as we move forward in theatre and continue to create new life & new discovery.
Thank you all very much for your contributions to theatre and please join us at the AGM on June 19th to remember the season and celebrate with our winners.
