May’s Murder Mystery Fundraiser Was a Great Success!

Gateway Theatre Guild hosted their first annual fundraising gala this past May to major success and community support. The event centered around Eclipsed!; an interactive murder mystery directed by Stephanie Kast and cast with local talents Vicki Bitis, Natalie DeMarco, Guillaume Dubé, Julia Einarson, Keegan MacNeil-Kettle, and Tristen Watts. Guests dined on Davidi classics as they enjoyed the mayhem and mystery of confused identity, missing jewels, and a murder most foul.

Local businesses and community partners, including East Coaster Studios, Tickled Teals, the Capitol Centre, Dr. Steven Bodley and John and Marisa Bressan, and BDO helped support the event through donations to the silent auction and attendance.

The event’s support was inspiring, as attendees dressed in their best masquerade attire to enjoy the night and support local arts. All funds raised have gone to supporting the 2025/2026 theatre season.

The success of this event has made us even more excited for what next year’s event will bring.
