Audition Registration Form

Welcome to the audition process at Gateway Theatre Guild! We are excited to see your talent and passion for performance. Please read the details below before filling out the registration form.

How to Audition

1- Complete the Registration Form – Fill out all required fields accurately to ensure a smooth audition process.
2- Prepare Your Audition Material – Depending on the production, you may need to prepare a monologue, song, or specific scene. Be sure to check the audition requirements.
3- Select Your Audition Slot – If applicable, choose your preferred audition date and time. Walk-ins may be accommodated, but pre-registration is recommended.
4- Attend the Audition – Arrive at least 15 minutes early, bring a headshot and resume (if available), and be ready to perform.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome performers of all experience levels! Whether you’re a seasoned actor or new to the stage, our auditions are open to everyone. We are looking for:
- Strong acting, voice, or movement skills (depending on the role)
- Confidence and stage presence
- The ability to take direction and collaborate with others

Additional Information

- Auditionees under 16 must have parental consent.
- If you have any scheduling conflicts, please note them in the form.

Our members receive a subscription to our newsletter editions 4-5 times a year with updates on special parties, events, workshops and opportunities to get involved.


Members are able to become cast and crew members. Our members vote at the annual meeting and elect the Board of Directors.”

Our annual membership costs $50.00.

We are the oldest community theatre group in Northern Ontario. 
Established in 1948, the Gateway Theatre Guild is a non-profit community theatre company located in North Bay. We are a group of theatre enthusiasts dedicated to providing opportunities for the community to engage in quality theatrical productions. We have produced over 200 performances.
