Costume and Props
Gateway Theatre Guild has over a thousand items in costume and props available for rental to theatre and film groups and event producers. Volunteers run the costume and props department and are available usually on evenings and weekends to help with rentals, cleaning and organizing our treasured items of vintage clothing and accessories.
Rentals:
– All groups are required to pay a deposit based on the number of items.
-1-10 items $20.00 – 50.00 depending on the age and quality of items borrowed.
– 10 – 50 items $50.00- 100.00
– Over 50 items the deposit will be negotiated.
– The user fee is $3.00 per costume or $5.00 per actor for one complete outfit.
– Commercial groups will be required to pay a rental fee:
$25.00 to $150.00 or more depending upon the number of costume pieces/properties required, vintage and quality.
The cost of cleaning items is expected to be covered by the rental group. Additional costs may be charged if items are in need of repair and cleaning when returned.
